The Intriguing Setup of Grocery Stores

As soon as I got my driver’s license, my daily schedule now included regular trips to the grocery store after work. At first, I began to think of this as just another chore, but the more frequently that I journeyed into a grocery store, the more I began to take notice of their layouts. In one store, the produce section came first, right at the main entrance, whereas in another, the produce section was located in the very back of the store. The arrangement of both grocery stores got me thinking about how much value we place in store placements, and which layout would be the most optimal to ensure less food wastage, especially in the Produce section.
